Biography

Lisa received her BS at the Eastern Illinois University and her MA at the University of Iowa. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where she later worked in several areas of nutrition care (ie. renal, critical care, and pediatrics). She also worked as an intervention dietitian in the nation-wide clinical trial, “Modification of Diet in Renal Disease” (MDRD) study, and several other smaller nutrition studies. Most recently she worked as a wellness nutrition counselor for a Fortune 500 company. She is grateful to work with the talented staff of the WAVES Study as well as outstanding participants.
